Editing Procedure/Physician Information

If a patient’s case is rescheduled or the procedure information is incorrect, you can easily edit that information with the following steps.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Medical Passport tab and select the appropriate date of service.
  2. Hover over the icons on the right and click “Edit Physician/Procedure”.  This will bring up Physician and Procedure information for easy editing.
  3. Update any details that have changed like Date of Procedure, Physician Name, or Procedure details.
  4. Once all the information has been updated and is correct, make sure to click “SAVE“. Red Text will appear at the top letting you know that “The edits were saved successfully”.
  5. To review any changes that have been made to a patient’s medical passport, you can click the “Changes” link in the left-hand navigation column. If this link does not appear, no changes have been made to the medical passport. You can see an audit trail of any Procedure Information changes made.

NOTE: Once the Medical Passport and the Booking is linked, you will see the Booking Procedure Name at the top of the screen.  This is the Procedure Name that will print on your Medical Passport forms in a standard configuration.  But if you have any additional questions about Procedure Name info or the procedure names on your forms, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager and they can help you find the best settings for your facility.
