Answer Part 1: They can text OMP to 54086 at any time.
Answer Part 2: They can also Opt In via their MP. They’ll need to answer Yes to the question in the registration section of their MP: “Can the healthcare team send a text message with instructions or healthcare information?”. Note that staff users may also update this question on behalf of the patient in their Medical Passport.
