Checklist


 

The Checklist feature allows clinical staff to track and manage a patient’s pre-procedure status, including items like tests, consults, and pre-procedure calls, all in one centralized location. Staff can update statuses, add notes, and maintain a complete audit trail of all pre-admission activities, helping ensure patients are fully prepared for their procedures.

Accessing Checklist

After logging in, select the Medical Passport tab and use Patient Search to locate your patient or procedure date. Simply hover over the desired patient and select ‘Checklist’ from the ‘More’ dropdown menu.

Enhanced Status Management

There are color-coded status indicators to help you track patient progress at a glance:

In Review
Pending
Cancelled
Completed

When a patient’s status is set to “Pending,” you’ll see five key tracking items that come enabled by default: Test/Consults, Anesthesia, Orders, H&P, and Consent.

Streamlined Pre-Procedure Call Tracking

Track your pre-procedure calls more efficiently with status options including N/A, No Answer, Left Message, or Completed. All call statuses are visible directly from your Patient Search screen in the Notes/Checklist column.

Enhanced Note Management and Audit Trail

Adding and reviewing notes is now more intuitive. Click “Add Note” or “Review Note” to manage your communications, with all entries displayed in an organized table format. If you need to review changes, the “View Journal” link provides access to a complete audit trail, which can be printed through a new browser tab.
