The team here at One Medical Passport is excited to announce the latest update of our online booking program. This update is a calendar grid view that is available both for office and facility users. You will notice this new view when you hover over this ‘Procedure’ sub-tab and you can click ‘Calendar’. This allows you to view each physician’s schedule individually in a calendar grid.
A couple of things that you will notice when you look at this calendar grid view is that the time of that procedure will show as well as the length of that procedure. If you hover over each one it will pop-up the information this way too. If something is scheduled without a time, it will stay up here at the top in yellow until there is a time selected. If you as an office user select times for your patients, this will make it easy just to view how many people are scheduled on each day. If the facility schedules it for you, as soon as they confirm this time, it will move to the appropriate time on the calendar.
Another nice feature you will notice on the calendar grid view is if your physician practices at more than one location that uses One Medical Passport, you can view those locations side-by-side. So, if we go to Mary Fisher, you’ll see that she has some surgeries at this location and this location so you can report that to them as well. If you only practice at one location, you won’t have this option to select a facility. Every time you click that ‘Search’ button, just like on that review screen, it will hold whatever search you had there last time until you change it.
The first iteration is view only. To make a change, simply go back to your ‘Review’ tab as normal, make the change, and as soon as you make a change to a time or edit something if you change the status, that will also reflect on that calendar grid view.
The only exception, when you won’t see something on the calendar grid view right away, is if the facility requests a new date and time. You will need to confirm that first before it pops on to your calendar.
