When Will My Automated Pathway Messages Begin?

Answer: After your facility goes live with Engage, the answer will depend on whether you also went live with Opt In messages or not.

  • If Opt Ins were previously activated: assuming the patient has opted in to receive texts, expect Text and Email messages to begin triggering for tomorrow’s DOS and going forward.
  • If Opt Ins were NOT previously activated:
    • Emails: you should expect email messages to begin triggering for tomorrow’s DOS and going forward.
    • Texts: New or updated Bookings created or updated today and afterwards will receive Opt In messages for tomorrow’s DOS and going forward. This means that any update to a case in your scheduling software will trigger the case to be placed on your newly activated Pathways. Cases placed on your scheduled prior to Go Live will not receive Engage messages until an update is made to it (the update action triggers an updated record to import to our system). Once the patient Opts In, they’ll begin receiving texts based on the Timing listed under the Clinical Pathways tab.
