Communication Center Overview

In the Communications Center, you can see a list of all communications that you have with your patients.

How you can sort messages:

  1. Date of procedure
  2. Date the messages was sent.
  3. Status of the message. (Sent, Failed, Not Sent)

NOTE: If any messages have failed, you will be able to see why. Most of the time, when a message fails, it’s because the phone number in the booking was not a mobile phone number.

Information you can see:

  • Patient name
  • Physician
  • Procedure
  • Source of the information
  • Booking only, or booking with a linked Medical Passport
  • Patient opt in (Y/N)
  • Appointment Reminder Confirmation

Pro Tip: You sort these column to see patients that need to be addressed, i.e. did not opt in or their opt in text went unanswered, did not respond to the appointment confirmation. Once you’ve address patients, you can click on the red logo to change their status to “Resolved.” If perhaps you clicked that status in error, you can click it again to change that status back.

Viewing Patient Messages:

To see the content of the messages received by a patient, click on any of the patient name and select “Completed Communications”. Pending communications, meaning communications that are scheduled for a future date or time, would also be listed here.

Completed Communications:

To view additional detail, click on the message name to open. If your message had any type of link for the patient to click (for example, preoperative instructions), we capture the date and time that the patient clicked on that link.

Log Calls:

In the Completed Communications view, you can also document a phone call that you might have had with the patient by clicking “Add Phone Call”.  When selected, you can see the patients contact info that came over from the booking, and document any phone call that you have had with them. Click “Save”, and it’s added to the patients list of communications.
