Passport Big Board assigns a randomly generated number to each patient.
Patient numbers are HIPAA compliant and allow loved ones to be able to follow the status changes on the lobby board while protecting the patient’s personal identifiable information.
Note: The most common columns used on a lobby board view are time, patient number, physician, and status.
Patient numbers are also generated in advance for all procedures scheduled for the upcoming seven days.
One great tool to help loved ones follow through the status changes is by giving them a number card with the patient’s number written on it.
Please talk to you one medical passport representative if you would like a patient card number with your facility’s logo on it.
You can easily print these cards out to distribute to patients loved ones as needed.
